My buddy and I headed to the bike rally early Friday morning. Awesome ride up, light traffic, no speed traps, perfect! My wrist has a mind of it's own when a Harley tries to pass on a highway. Couple tried, they failed...one guy on a nice new HD, wearing the uniform, looked at me going by, and opened his up. I let him get even then just kept twisting her open. When I looked in the mirror, all I saw was my buddy. HA!
Got to Laconia and got several nice bike comments before we hit the parking lot. Got my t-shirt, did some people watching and had a cold drink before heading back. Some guy walks up to me and asks where I got the cool shirt? I told him the F6Riders store, on VRCC. (thanks for the cool shirts F6Rider store!) He wrote it down and 45 minutes later we were still talking Valks.
Had a great ride home, 280 or so miles, just loving this girl!

Man, I miss Laconia.  Made it up to many of them when I lived in Massachusetts.

Had a buddy whose family owned a cabin at Lake Shore Park on Winnepasauki. <sp?>  Saved a bunch on lodging, etc.

Man, I miss Laconia - and the roads in that region.

I saw 1 other Valk, a green & white I/S with Ontario plate on the bypass.
Waved as I went by, didn't see it later though.

Laconia is on my bucket list but I have not made it there.  A biker buddy of mine, who is a photographer, contracts out to PhantomRider, one of the roadside photograph companies there.  He does to Laconia  every year, on the job...
