Stickers

I mean really how many stickers do they want to put on this bike. I took most of them off and put them on the tools door. They take away from the look of the bike even to stick the tire pressure sticker on the frame of the bike WTH? Was this just mine or did you guys also have all the stickers. Also why did they have to put the VIN sicker over the frame like packing tape instead of along the same lines as the frame. I want to take it off and realign it but I dont want to ruin it either.

I left all my frame stickers alone, and just took off the lawyer
stickers on the gas tank...
linseed oil, btw, removed the sticker-goo with ease...

Tank sticker went first. Second, was the "blah, blah, emissions, blah, blah, compliant" sticker up on the front of the frame... that one started to come off easy and then turned into a PITA. Hoppes 9 cleaned that up.

I also took off the tank stickers (SUCH a pain with goo-b-gone, should have tried the linseed trick!).
The big VIN decal wasn't even securely pressed on the frame, so I had to flatten it down, which of course cause an air-bubble crinkle...
But I agree about the tank stickers. Sore sight.

Question...regarding the tank sticker, did you try and fingernail off the sticker and then use the gooBgone on the residual adhesive or plaster the stuff over the top of the actual sticker? My black F6B scratches so easily I am hesitant to scratch away with my thumb nail.

I used my fingernail on just a corner of my clean label. Peeled it slowly and got almost all of it minus some adhesive on the bottom edge. Used Hoppes on that.

This.
I used gooBgone and it worked but took several (several too many) applications.
Pretty sure your fingernail won't do any damage to the clearcoat, as easily as it seems to scratch!

I used a light non abrasive polish/scratch remover to do the job.
