I was out on a ride today and was passing a motorcycle club out for an outing.  Around 30 of them, all HDs.  That was kind of fun but I noticed when a trike went over a sharp bump the back wheels jumped  all over the place but the rider wasn't affected at all.   Is the suspension that much better on a trike?
When I hit a bump like that I can get a jolt that I feel for days.  This was at the end of a 400 mile ride so I was saddle sore already and bumps like that really hurt.
Just wondering what experiences other trikers  have with their suspension.

Trikes now have IRS suspension. But if both back wheels bounced off the ground, he might still have a solid axle. I'm sure the rider was affected more than you think.
