JMO but I think most would prefer one with some more accessories rather than stock....especially since those accessories are either no longer made, hard to obtain and pricey.   And speaking of price......

10 grand might be pushing it even if like new, but am sure the carb labor is some of that thrown in as well?  First thing I would do is replace the 15 year old OEM tires.  Very clean, sharp stock I/S though, cleanest/freshest probably in the whole world.

One thing is for sure,  you won't find a lower mileage,  mint condition, no bug splatter, cleaner Valk around anywhere.

If I was original owner, I would have sold it in 2001 if knowing not going to ride it ever again.

I looked at this bike a couple years ago and there was more going on than just plugged up carbs. Sounded like it was rusty inside. I wouldn't give them 5 grand for it.  Do yourself a favor and walk away from this one.   It is only a few miles from me too.

For just a little more money, I'd honestly rather have a Brand new 2014 1800 Valk. As many of you know, I'm going through a settlement phase on my 2nd Interstate. Mileage doesn't mean jack to an insurance company. If this bike were totalled out tomorrow, the owner would have to fight like hell to get 60% of that 10 grand back.

Well, it sure is pretty (for an Interstate).    Not a real IS fan here.   coolsmiley  Would make a great trike if it's as solid as the listing says.

Pictures make it look good but it is not that great of a bike. I would be afraid the internal motor components would be rusty. Sittimg out of oil for 12 uears collecting condensation.  No thanks, I would rather have one with 30k on it
