Don't know what your problem is here. He's wearing a helmet and I'm sure those are safety flip flops.
Besides, the scooter they are carrying will break their fall in an accident. I think they got it covered pretty good.

In addition to similar photos that other members have shared. You Know, what is interesting, These solution to their problems are most likely not the best ones, but they did get the job done, even though a whole lot of luck was on there side. The thing I see is, I am not going to give up, I will find a way, as crazy as they were, I tip my hat to them, they are not quitters.

Where there is a will, there is a way.

Too bad they may have to read that 'will' after their funeral.

Although, that scoot can't weigh more than 200lbs. so what the heck, all it is is another skinny rider thrown on that small seat.

Cut the guys some slack,  it is probably a Chinese scoot and they have to take it to the nearest shop to attempt to fix that piece of junk.  3 guys at work all bought used and new Chinese 50-150cc scooters and ALL have had issues, mostly electrical, with them in the first year owning them.

Although not Honda/Yamaha/Suzuki quality,  a small notch below that, in my opinion, is my Kymco 250cc scooter made in Taiwan.  Kymco originally prior to splitting with Honda in 1963 made parts for Honda prior to that and has been in business 50 years now, parts readily available.  Besides, who can argue if NHRA has Kymco as their official scooter and ATV?   I bought it used for 1 grand with 8500 miles on it (guy was moving out of state in 1 week and did not have room to take it with him and was 2 days prior to snowing late November wanting 1800 and I said too much, give me your bottom line price-he said 1 grand is all), now has near 12,000 miles on it 3 years later with no real issues (just cosmetics), knock on wood.   A couple more years of riding it and I'll have that 1 grand paid for in gas savings alone paying for itself.  A few Kymco dealers say that engine, etc. should go 30,000 miles or more with proper maintenance no problems and if that is the case (knock on wood),  should last me the rest of my riding days putting on about 1300 miles per riding season on it.    Same though can be said about my Valk I/S lasting me the rest of my riding life.  There, now it is Valk related, I guess?  Roll Eyes

Ever see the pics of what happens when someone wears flip flops on a motorcycle? Google it, but be ready.  Shorts and flip flops while riding. Never have gotten that? But, to each his own,

i made that mistake.  downloaded the 'figure 1' app (a medical version of instagram) then searched 'motorcycle'   yikes,  humans  are very fragile.  'degloving' is particularly grusome.

although no flip flops, I wear basic tennis shoes and ride with shorts all summer long, more comfy.  I favor comfiness over protection in hot, hot weather.  I understand the risks, but my body might be shot, but I do wear a helmet 99% of the time protecting my noggin.  Most Harley riders are just the opposite,  they wear all the bue jeans and leathers, but never a helmet.  I will never fit in with the Harley crowd I guess?  Oh well.  Roll Eyes
