I took Sue on her first road trip this weekend. We had friends getting married in Lexington Mi. It was suposed to be a beach wedding on the shore of lake Huron but it rained the day of the wedding so they had to go with their back up plan. Luckily for us we had good weather both days that we traveled. It was a little over a hundred miles each way but that's not bad for her first motorcycle trip. We rented a cabin at a bed and breakfast about a 1/4 mile from the beach. When we got there we unpacked and walked over to the Village Pub for a burger and a couple beverages. The night of the wedding we got a ride to the festivities from some friends and took a taxi home,  of course neither of us were were in any kind of condition to operate even a bicycle  laugh. As far as traveling we went with the not in a hurry method and stayed off the highway and zigzaged through the farm lands and small towns of Michigan.  The last picture was a screen capture from my new Sony action cam.

Well I have a Sue too.  She rides with me on day trips but nothing longer.  We participated in a charity ride last Saturday where we did a total of 185 miles.  I was real proud of her...

My Sue did real good too. Only one bathroom break each direction. The first one happened to be at the intersection of 34 mile and fisher road in a porta potty outside of the general contractors trailer for the road work going on there. She is a trooper.

I think I would have a hard time getting Brenda to do that  Roll Eyes She won't even go in half the gas stations we stop at.

Otus, when you stopped at that  porta potty on 34 mile and fisher rd. you were exactly 1 mile north of my house. As a matter of fact, I think I saw you guys go by. I was in my front yard doing some prep work on the house. Stop in the next time. Hell, we even have indoor plumbing.

That's why I put the intersection in there. Thought we had a couple guys out that way.
