I just watched on tv, a straw poll of college students in California.  The poll was asking whether the American Flag should be replaced.  Many said yes.  How far has our millennium generation come?

I say a long ways since the Greatest generation.

Recently i had a story posted in the Graybeards magazine about my duty in Korea. I received calls from four Korean war veterans, commenting on the story.  One veteran, a sergeant, who lost one leg and one eye in the Korean war, sent me some personal notes that he wrote while in the 34th Regiment. 24th infantry division.  He was in combat in Korea in 1950-51.

One particular incident ,among others, stood out,  His outfit was advancing North and Korean refugees were streaming south to get away from the North Koreans and the Chinese.  He watched one Korean woman give birth at the side of the road.  he watched two mamasans help her to her feet.  He watched as she threw her newborn baby into the ditch. He asked his LT 'let's do something". The LT said, "We can't"  The sergeant said" For a minute there, I was acting like a human being" to which the LT said, "Yeah, i know."

That is just a snapshot of many where our Armed forces  were involved in helping other countries.  The amount of physical and metal anguish on members of our Armed Services is completely lost on those that defile our Flag and hate our country even though they are citizens here.

The present concentrated and determined reduction in morale of our Armed Forces that is being carried out by Washington, is just another example of changing our country.

This July 4th, we will have people setting off fireworks to celebrate what?  Many of us will remember why but many also will not.  In any case, Fireworks made in China, will be in the picture.  China was hugely responsible for many of our WIA and KIA in Korea and their government is still the same!!!

I no longer fly these flags together since my move to my apartment.  Both could go the way of the Rebel flag if the progressives decide to try it.  They now think that they have the World by the Ass on a downhill grade.

Precisley.
The little pukes that want the flag replaced have no idea what its like to live in a country where you can't speak out against the gov. The first time polizi busts heads and removes the 99%ers from the town square a'la commie cop crowd control measures, will be precious.
Arm up kiddies.
