As I posted several days ago, I put Conti Motion tires on an extra set of wheels that I had and installed the front wheel. I haven't ridden it yet, but just moving the bike off the lift and out of my garage, I was quite surprised by how easy it seemed to move/roll/steer. I believe that Honda is on to something with these tire sizes on the GW1800. And even the GW Valkyrie 1800 with the narrower front tire.

I understand that some may not be open to "the look" of these low profile tires, but I need to try the set-up before I can criticize or praise this. However I do like "the look". And I still have the rear wheel/tire to mount, as well as a new set of shorter shocks and a new rear fender section.

It will take me awhile to complete the rear of my I/S as I am so sore after doing this, and I still have several other pressing M/C projects. I will keep you updated.

See ya!!!

that front fender looks awfully big as compared to the tire, just saying.

but hey, if it works out and easier to maneuver, more power to ya.

Hey, it's yer bike and if that's the look that appeals to you, then that's all that's important.

So weird! When I first looked at the first photo I thought "WTH? A propane powered Valk? What a crappy looking......oh, it's the tire!"
