Word on the street is Delkevic is supposed to come out with a slip on "soon."

Two Brothers is supposed to develop a slip on "during the off season" arpund September maybe.

Torq Loopz is supposed to be making a mid pipe to remove the catalytic convertor "soon."

I'll believe it when I see it

Admittedly I have no idea what I'm talking about but don't we technically already have 6 into 6? Looking into the end of the mufflersecretive there are 3 openings each. Can someone please school me in basic muffler.

The six into six ,as far as I know, only comes in the Cobras and the Two Brothers Racing exhaust made for the original Valkyrie. Cobra makes a 6-2-6 for the F6B and there has been at least one person who I think has adapted these to the new Valkyrie. 6 into 6 signifies 6 separate headers into 6 individual exhaust pipes. On the 1800s , the 6 exhaust ports (3 on each side) are collected into 2 exhaust pipes as it goes through a catalytic converter on each side, then through the to rear exhaust pipes. Those 3 hole or ports in the rear pipe, are merely for effect . There is a product called Torque loops which are designed to replace the cats for more reported power and throatier sound along with your choice of rear slip on pipes for the F6B and Gold Wings. Among other things, the Torque loops are reported to remove what some have called the dreaded "drone" experienced with some aftermarket pipes.

I'm not sure what manufacturer's are making exclusively for the new Valkyries. The rear sub frame is different than the other GL1800s so the mounting points for the rear exhaust pipes are different. These issues can probably be overcome with a little ingenuity I would think.

Technically, I dont think anyone is making anything.  The Delkevic's are generic sport bike mufflers.  All they're probably doing is making a simple pipe bent to connect where the factory muffler does so you can put a sport bike can on the bike with a hanging clamp.

Two Brothers makes a nice looking exhaust for the F6B that sounds pretty good.  If they do make an exhaust it will probably match the style of the bike pretty well.

Torq Loopz makes some pipes that also seem to match the bike pretty well too but I haven't heard if they're making a set for the Valkyrie.  Maybe if they make their Loopz they will make it possible to use one of their exhausts.

Hello,

3 month ago, I'd install Torq Loops on my new Valkyrie. It fit perfectly. The sound's the same (just a little bit deep). I also drill all the hole at the end of the 2 mufflers... now the sound's really nice !
