Word of caution on after market OEM looking petcock from eBay

Just a word of caution to other Valkyrie owners regarding these "fantastic deals" on aftermarket petcocks that are on eBay.  I'm not talking about the Pingel brand, these are what appear to be an identical knockoff of the OEM ones that came from Honda on our bikes.  

I bought one of these $50 "bargains" to replace the one that was on my '97 Standard.  It started leaking immediately after it was installed, my friend James Lynch tried to repair the bad seal...but it ended up failing again in about a month.  I hope this was just an isolated case, however I figure it best to let everyone know just in case. I am replacing it right now with an OEM.
