From a failing u-joint I suspect.
We're 9000km/5600m into our trip including InZane when she started to vibrate some going down hill and I had noticed a while back that shifting was getting clunky. I'm in Moncton New Brunswick right now and just by fluke there is a bike rally on. I was hoping due to the event, Honda may be open today (Sunday).
I posted my dilemma on facebook late last night and low and behold, a fellow VRCC member that I had actually passed yesterday heading the opposite direction toward Nova Scotia, picked up on it and guess what he has!  Smiley He goes by "Novavalker" on the forum and is on his way back here to give me a hand along with tools and lift. He lives exactly where we left from yesterday and I was noticing then that something wasn't right, it just wasn't bad enough for me to no for sure. He's about three hours from here.
I'm a little overwhelmed at this gesture right now as I was totally convinced we'd be sitting a couple days waiting for part delivery. I have more time than my buddy riding with me and we are two days behind on our schedule to get back to Calgary. What a huge help this will be to say the least!!

Terry,

Glad to hear things are working out for you! I had a similar experience a couple of years ago when another Canadian saved the day and kept ALI and me together... you may know that story... Anyway, I'm sure glad things are looking up... Please tell Novavalker we all appreciate his action and assistance... Like others, he makes a huge difference, and it's great to see this sort of thing happening!!!

I only know of one other person here who has ever paid it forward like you have, Terry, and she donated a kidney!   angel

If anyone deserves this kind and generous support, you are one of them!

Hats off to NovaValker and ditto what OSS said!   cooldude
