A fellow Valkyrie rider was killed while riding his bike July 1st.  A car turned left in front of him.

Rest in peace CHARLES SONS.

His wake will be held this evening.  100% chance of rain.....101% if you count the tears.

Burial tomorrow morning.

It told me the link was not available or I wasn't authorized.

Suppose that is because I don't have a Facebook account anymore?

It's a bad intersection on a 4 lane because it appears to be so clear, but vehicles come out from being obscured behind trucks in the opposing side's turning lane.

I've nearly wrecked right there myself.  I'd started to make the turn but STOPPED and zoom, a speeding car passed right in front of me.  It would have been my fault and I would have been dead.  In Charles' wreck, it was the car that crossed in front of him.

I have a few places that I regularly pass that I think back to situations that nearly ended bad for me.  I'll reflect back about what went wrong and thank God for giving me another day....

Ride safe
