It is so about time the Government extend these benefits to all  AO exposed  Service personal.  I have followed this pretty closely.  If you can find it there was a good special on AO and they interviewed Admiral Zumalt, who ordered the spraying of AO and his son, who was a River Boat commander.  Young Zumalt's son was born with disabilities and He himself died of an AO related disease.   Long read but very poignant     http://academics.wellesley.edu/Polisci/wj/Vietnam/Readings/zumwalt.htm

Getting close to graduation in 1971 from college and so we were all out looking for jobs.
Was close to this girl who was a brilliant chemistry major; she was dating my room mate.

When I asked her what she was doing after school, she replied that she'd been hired by Dow Chemical.

I never spoke to her again. Angry

That poison did and continues to kill almost 50 years later.  I hope McNamara and his cronies rot in hell.

What happened was they needed so much AO, the Government, DOD relaxed the standard on the amount of  Dioxin and other nasties allowed in the product. Nobody would have known squat if they did not sell the surplus to the Railroads to keep the tracks and ballast. Railroad workers started getting sick and investigated why and the truth came out.

Does anyone actually believe these Veterans will get any better treatment than those who have been spotlighted as dying from delayed care while the VA fudged their numbers and wait times, and continues to do so?
