Let's not lean more whilst we accelerate.

Let's get target fixation.

Let's run over the "gore" area that will be full of road debris.

So lucky the dark car didn't kill him.

Let's get the insurance and promise never to ride 2 wheels again.

All he had to do was roll off the gas a tad and he'd have been fine.

Gotta keep the lid screwed on the testosterone jar.

Good thing that truck was there to keep him from doing something really stupid.   Roll Eyes

I'm betting brand new rider who was never taught push steering.  He either didn't know he could turn tighter, or didn't know how.

when he crossed the white line, do y'all think he was actually trying to merge into traffic at that point or did he go wide because of too much accellration thru the turn?

it looks like the onramp they were on continued as a separate lane on that roadway... all he had to do (as the other rider did) was stay in that lane

OR NOT!  New rider? Definitely riding over his head?

Too much right wrist with a body attached that didn't really understand how to ride.

At age 16 I was a terrible rider on my Honda Sports 90cc. Had enough power to get to 65mph and I would wring that little engine out.

There but for the grace of my guardian angel.............................

Funny.  I'm used to cars doing that to me while entering the freeway/highway.

Look out, ready or not, here I come.  crazy2

They don't see you because they don't look.  Looking and driving at the same time takes too much skill.

I ride in the right lane, but shift to the center at busy entrance ramps.  Sometimes they want both lanes anyway (like this dummy).

I don't want a get-back whip (I want laws rockets).

A lack of "engaging use of the cabbage" led to this lad's sliding down the freeway.
He is one lucky rag doll; not to have been relegated to the "sail cat" category. uglystupid2

Foolish rider, yet I find myself riding foolishly sometimes and I have to credit my guardian angels for covering for my idiocy. I keep telling myself that I can't afford any mistakes because of blood thinners running through my veins and one good fall and I'll bleed-out internally. Oh, I'll be fine for a little while until all of a sudden, I'm not. Half hour later I'm twisting that throttle like there's no tomorrow and i'm trying to catch up with Smokin' Joe. LOL

while total fault lies with the rider, the guy in the pick-up just kept chugging down the road like nothing happened even though his truck does appear to show a slight correction from the impact, then the video ends, so not sure if he ever pulled over but it looked like the pick-up was getting to the highway signs and not braking or changing lanes.

the rider looks like he just spaced out and didn't pay any attention to the situation

I sincerely doubt the pickup driver even knew the dumba$$ was there.    The bike came out of no where from the pickup's perspective.     That is until his right rear tire went over the bikes front tire.   This ride is one of those guys I won't ride with.   Stupid is as stupid does.

Giving credit where credit is due, you got me on that.    I'm thinking this guy must have just missed out during the Olympic try outs in tumbling.   He probably didn't get enough air.    Wink
