Our old arch enemy from the rockin' 70's, but an incredibly worthy opponent of the Denver Broncos.
Great games from that Oakland era led by Stabler; a real maverick on the Raiders' teams that were made up of renegades and castoffs, assembled by Darth Vader (Al Davis) and coached by John ("Take that, Fat Man!") Madden. Great offense and tenacious defense from those teams. Every game with Oakland was war and the best team of that day usually won. Love'em or hate'em it was exciting football; run and gun.
Ken Stabler, a true credit to his position and a character in the locker room; may you take your rest with respect and honor.

"Hey, St. Peter, a slant to the post on two!"
