Does anyone run IS pipes on their Standard? I have the Mark T pipes with crossover on my standard and they are just to loud for the old lady. I found a nice set of stock IS pipes and was just wondering if anyone is running them on their Standard and any comments anyone might have. Thanks.

I/S tips are horizontal and standard/tourer tips are vertical. NOT sure if there is a length difference. I know from first hand experience that Cobra 6 into 6 are noisy. Course I'm getting older!  Lips Sealed Maybe MarkT offers something to quiet down what ya got?? RIDE SAFE.

Aside from the tip and piggie differences mentioned, all valk pipes will mount to all valks.

I suppose the flat/horizontal IS tips are to give more room under the bags and heat shields, but they should work fine on a standard.

They'll look better with these 18" tips (which don't care if the piggies are horizontal or vertical.

I believe Mark offers an add on to quiet the pipes.  Hence the name, MildtoWild.

The Interstate pipes will fit fine on any Valkyrie and due to the longer piggies are the quietest stock pipes you can get.

Thanks for all the replies. Greg, I bought a set of pipes before I read your offer but thanks for the offer. Willow, I went the cheap route when I had Mark modify my exhaust originally and didn't opt for the truck stacks or trombones. Just the glasspacks and crossover. I did buy some little silencers from him later but they don't quiet it down much at all. Eddy thanks for the input, I took your advice.
