Got out in the heat (95-98) today for a short ride. Put on 225 miles in north east Alabama. From Ardmore-Grant-Guntersville-Scottsboro-Little River Canyon and back home, had to stop in Ft. Payne  and visit the DQ to cool down. It was good to get some time off from the to-do list  and have fun.

Figured I'd see Santa in South Dakota back in June for InZane .... Its been HOT however I've not bitched about it after the cold weather we had last winter.

Couldn't make it to Inzane. My youngest daughter had her third boy at the time of Inzane and we took care of the 3yr old and 2yr old for her. I really wanted to make it.

Got "only" 102 mile today. Had to finish the lawn. It was in the 90s here today with high humidity. Looks like more of the same til next weekend and maybe beyond. Heat and high humidity absofrikkinlutely KILL my electric bill with the A/C on. If I ain't payin to heat this dump I'm payin to cool it!  uglystupid2 RIDE SAFE.

I stopped on 68 near Coker Creek and talked with an Alabama guy on a blacked
out Harley yesterday... he said he left there early in the morning to escape the heat.

It was pretty nice and cool all the places I went yesterday, first because it was early,
then because I was on the edge of a storm...
