A brief but intense thundershower is just finishing. We haven't had water in our street like this in eight years.

Raining here AGAIN, too, but not nearly as much as you are getting. I know June was the wettest on record for our area. July certainly isn't doing much to change that direction. I'm ready for real summer weather to finally get here. I feel like I'm living in Portland, OR, or Seattle, WA!

Based on what's been happening here in Kentucky the last month or so, I'm going to politely ask you to shut the south gate and keep some of the weather up there with you.   Ride safely my friend.

"Do not drive your car through flooded roads"  I'm getting mighty tired of that warning from the Weather Bureau.  We live at the confluence of three rivers, St. Marys. St Joseph, and the Maumee.

I'm happy to keep our rain here for a while. We have an abundance of forest fires that need extinguishing in western Canada. I'm not sure I have enough influence to affect your weather, however.   angel
