We had a nice group hook-up in my hometown of Clinton in The Great State Of Tennessee for a ride down to Sweetwater to have lunch with Terry ( T-Bird ) . As most here know Terry has been dealing with some serious health issues the last several months. It was great seeing him and to hear his laugh again. We had folks from Tennessee, South Carolina and Indiana show-up for lunch. The show me the love picture. Terry has sold one of his Valkyrie's but still has his Interstate I'm hoping he hangs on to it and get's better to ride again. I've rode with some great riders living in the Tennessee mountains with our outstanding roads and I can say without a doubt Terry is one of the best riders I've had the pleasure to share the wind with. Get better my friend After lunch plan A was to ride across Cherohala Skyline with Mike ( Hubcap ) on his way back home to South Carolina and we would head north on US 129 " The Dragon " back home. We was outside the BBQ place and the sky turned black on plan A so we went with plan B and rode the way of the blue sky. We rode with the Indiana folks to Crossville and split making our way toward home via the loooog way. These pictures was taken on Roosevelt Mountain above Rockwood, Tennessee. D.G. ( Whiskey Man ) checking out the view of Rockwood and Watts Bar Lake. We was down to three riders from here so we made the best of it staying on the tree covered ( shade ) roads. We made a stop at Frozen Head State Park and Natural Area. Frozen Head State Park and Natural Area is a state park in Morgan County, Tennessee. The park, situated in the Crab Orchard Mountains between the city of Wartburg and the community of Petros, contains some of the highest mountains in Tennessee west of the Blue Ridge. Frozen Head State Park consists of approximately 24,000 acres , all but 330 acres of which is classified as a state natural area. The terrain varies between 1,300 ft to over 3,000 ft with 14 peaks at or over 3,000 feet . Frozen Head, the park's namesake, is the highest peak at 3,324 feet . The mountain's name comes from its snow-capped appearance in colder months. The park's highest elevations allow for unobstructed views of East Tennessee's three main physiographic features: the Cumberland Plateau, the Tennessee Valley, and across the valley, the Great Smoky Mountains.

Wish I had of known about it looks like Yall had a good time and T looks good Ditto, would have been a good ride to make. I could throw T-Bird on the back of the trike, or maybe in the trailer so he could take a nap.

Yeah, I'm hearing that Facebook thing quite a bit. I don't do Facebook so, I guess I miss out on quite a bit of riding on some of the events. But, I suppose it serves a purpose, as I understand it, you can limit who sees your posts. That way, no one shows up for the event that you really don't want there.

Wow....that last picture of the stream has me wishing my toes were in it right now. Hotter than Hell down here and humid.
Best wishes to Tbird for a steady recovery!
