Doesn't look too bad....I guess. I wanted to make certain it followed the lines of the chrome radiator baffle next to it, which also follows the down tube angle. By adapting a Valk tank to the frame, I could no longer use the OEM plastic thing....which was ugly and had a hole in it anyway. So, in an effort to keep it simple and inexpensive, I ordered a 2"x10" SS unit off Ebay, $28 with shipping. Then mounted it using stuff from my stash of SS paraphernalia. I used some clear plastic tubing so I can tell how much coolant is in it without having to remove the cap. By using a P clamp, I was able to attach the bottom to the engine guard, the top piece is just some SS strap I had laying around. It holds about 18 oz which is slightly more than the OEM unit....and looks a lot nicer. It's solid which is what I was after.

Rear view showing the Valk tank, handlebars, and Valk m/c and controls. Those ugly gauges will be tossed soon as I get to that part of the rebuild. Next project I guess will now be the forks.

Doug, they'd be too hard to light, they'd be wet. Besides, you know I don't smoke.  Wink
