If you had a CCW permit and if you owned and carried while riding......how would you carry? Belt ? Shoulder holster ? Front pocket ? Other ?

I used to use a fanny pack when I was fat, but since I've lost some weight I've switched to an Alien Gear holster...

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

Inside the belt but pushed to the rear. I use a left hand holster so the grip faces forward on the right side. Just don't plan on using a pistol while riding, you are more likely to drop it than not. Otherwise, the pistol is locked in a saddle bag until I walk away from the Big Girl. Extra clips are always in the saddle bags. I was never a boy scout but I liked their motto.

I'm left handed and live in an open carry state. I usually carry either in a fobus OTW holster or in a sewn in holster in my left boot.

Carry on the bike the same way you carry when not on the bike. So you do not have to use valuable time remembering where the gun is, when you need it.

Leather vest with an inside pocket works great. Get one with snaps, not zippers for easy access.

Excellent advice and this is backed up by many professional instructors. I carry a Jeffreycustomleather.com rig all day, every day. Very comfortable and always there.

Strong side IWB Everyday Holsters hybrid holster holding a J-frame Smith model 60 .357mag snubby under concealment vest cover from Sportsmans Guide http://www.sportsmansguide.com/product/index/concealment-vest-black?a=713613 also holding a Smith model 649 J-frame shrouded hammer .357mag snubby in shoulder-draw position TWO .357mag snubbies in fast access positions for different circumstances - standing, sitting, etc; small profiles, very comfortable, no printing, plenty of power. That is if I had any guns at all. Hope to get my Scuba gear up to snuff so I can recover my guns on the bottom of Lake Michigan...

Alien Gear IWB w/ Springfield 45 XDS in warm weather, 3" 1911 Colt in Jackass Shoulder rig in cooler weather, S&W 380 Bodyguard backup sometimes in CCW vest pocket ... that is if I were to carry. As others have said, make it a habit to always carry the same so as to make use of muscle memory ... if you need it there won't be much time to think about where it is this trip. Practice, practice, practice with what ever you choose.

Open carry Holstered. Being left handed has it's advantages while carrying and riding.

Ever since I had a Colt Det Spl slide down my pants and onto the floor at a convenience store (with two cops at the register) (long before permits), I prefer holsters. (all kinds) Two weeks earlier, two cops found my cherry wood billy under my seat and asked if I knew it was illegal. I said I didn't, I was going to school in the city and it seemed prudent to have one. They exchanged knowing glances and said.... yeah, Detroit is not a safe place, here you go, stick it back under your seat. The Det Spl was in my bookbag.
