Trying to do this in a way that doesn't violate board policy.

Mike Lamborne of Mountainman Art will be at this location(a motorcycle parts accessories business)
from 7/31/15 to 8/03/15.

4656 Turney Road
Madison, Ohio 44057
440-259-4793 toll free 888-532-0166

You can get pinstriping, airbrushing and hand painted murals done. IMO, Mountainman is one of the best and was present at least one of the earlier Inzanes--I'm thinking Zanesville or Paducah.

Just a heads up for our members who want to get a destinctive touch added to their ride. I have no affiliation other than wishing I had the money and time to get mine done.

Mountain man does great work.  He is at most of the mid-atlantic Goldwing state rallies.  If I was going to put paint on one of my bikes he would be at the top of my list.  Nice guy too.

Steve, I "think" that was the one where the IZ shirt had the Valkyrie maiden leading a dragon by a chain?
The last IZ in Zanesville was the first one I attended.

Someone gave that shirt to Mountainman and said, "Put THAT on my tank". It was the most amazing copy I'd ever seen! Does anyone remember whose Valk that was?

Also, I think John Schmidt told me two years ago that Mountainman had done his bike also. He won one of the bike categories-Best in Show?

Yes wiggy, except for some small striping on the radiator pods done by Dirk Blacker(think that's his name), Mike has done all of mine as well. The first painting he did for me was in Zanesville, done on the front fender. Later did the tank, side covers & saddlebags. When I mounted the fairing, he modified a painting I took to him and put it on the front....beautiful work. Later when I adapted an old GL1100 trunk to the Valk I had him do that as well. Mike and his wife are gracious folks and longtime friends. Here's what he did with the trunk, done to match his other work. Real talent, as for myself.....I can't sign my name three times and have them all look the same.  Grin

Fairing.

Front fender done in Zanesville.

Yes, it was IZ 3.  I had contacted him several weeks before the rally and had an appointment to get my bike pin striped.  He did that mural after working on my bike.  I checked in several times watching the progress of the mural.  And yes it was an amazing copy of the shirt design.

Are you sure it wasn't the VOAi rally in 2001 in LaCrosse?  I was there.  Got my Baker Air Wings and air horns from (BJ Enterprizes) I think).  Both still work perfect after all these years.
