Yup, fully purchased by Diageo.... Hoping they leave 'em alone and let 'em keep doing what they've been doing....

It's about 110 miles from home, nice distance for a ride, buy some distillery only releases, have lunch, and ride home...

Yup.  We ride down to Del Bac's in Tucson every now and then.  I'm on the volunteer list  to help out on bottling day.  Pretty good deal, work a 4 hour shift and go home with a free bottle that you bottled and see the distillery cat.

I have a Charter Arms PUG and the barrel is 2or3 degrees out of vertical and very tight. I milled the sights today to align properly.



I used to read W.E.B. Griffen books and in one series he often referred to “The Famous Grouse”.
I thought it was just in the books but found out to my great satisfaction that it was real.

The Garrisons is pretty good but the Willett's is a bit harsh to me. But what do I know considering my go to drinks are Miller Lite and Jose Cuervo Gold.

Willett's was the most informative guided tour I've been on. A few years ago we showed up at the distillery and the head distiller showed us around just like that.

Well recently we been drinking wine again. We have a in state winery named Oliver and they are making a Lemon Moscato that's really tasty. My favorite is their Apple Pie which has such great flavor that I treat it as a sippin wine. It gets better after each sip. Damn good holiday wine for sure. Of course being retired, everyday is a holiday.
