Finally finished up the rebuild of my rescue bike. Needs a few more finishing touches but for now the bike runs like a raped ape.

I like it!  Do you have a sound clip by any chance?  I'll bet it sounds mean.

Looks great so far......like the detail on the mirror stems!

Are you planning something for the front fender or just leaving it as is?

Great job! Not too much black. Offset it by just the right amount.

I did not like the way the front fender came out. I am in the process of getting it re-powder coated gloss black with a red accent. Another couple of weeks for that to be done.

Cobras 6x6 without baffles, ceramic coated. The tips are from the original chrome.

Way cool.  Ya done good.   cooldude

You even detailed the windshield mounting brackets.  I assume you're planning on using a shield on it again?

Nicely done, Poppa. I like the wheel accents. Overall, the bike has a very unique look.

Good to hear as I was thinking ...... if it was mine, I'd have a modded fender on there.
Look forward to seeing it with it on.

Man that is one sharp hot rod.  Only thing besides adding a front fender as you are going to do is get rid of the chrome side covers and go red or red/black combo of some sort to match the rest of the bike.  No to little chrome on a bike like this is better, in my opinion.

Love it otherwise, awesome job, well done!!!!!!!!!!! cooldude

Wow!  Lots of work went into that bike... Very nice.  The handlebars look like 2" tapering down with the extra bar going across???  What kind of bars are they?  Nice heel/toe with the Kury pegs.  Lots of other details that I can see also.  Great job.   cooldude cooldude

Thanks for the positive words. Yes, I did spend quite some time customizing the bike the way I want it. They are Jardine bars. Bought them used from another VRCC member. Heel/toe shifter is Kuryakyn, thought I would hate it but the shifting is so smooth with it.

Excellent job my young Texas friend (personal joke). Raman , you did very well. Keep resurrecting the Valks. I hate to see the good Valks being parted out as happens so often.

NICE job.............. yesterday on a short 1 day ride saw an older goldwing ..
pretty sure it was an 1100,and looked like original but was super clean and really nice,I would love to find one that is not totally trashed for a grand or so and restore it myself... would be great to have in the garage next to my 2014 valkyrie... I miss having my VT1300 but it had to go to get the new val,now I will find another bike to work on as a winter project when its not nice to ride.

Almost there, will be dropping off one of the Corbin seats to be re-upholstered.Still debating whether to get the seat redone in leather with a custom Dragon hand carved design or marine grade vinyl in red and black with a design similar to the curved flows of the gas tank.
