This is my second trip to England with in a month's time. Beautiful country cooldude Working on Furzey Island near Poole. Very small island with a lot of history. The locals workers have been telling me about Bike Night on the Poole Quay every Tuesday. Mannn what a site, couple of thousands of bikes from all over. I saw four valks, very few harleys, lots of sport bikes, lots of cafes, and beautiful CBX. Talked to 2 valk owners, they didn't know about the vrcc. One has 2 valks in the states and two in England. But he did ask if I knew the guy that did the (Fools) thing. The Barkers are internationally known cooldude Hope to see Stonehenge tomorrow.

Cheers

Joe,
If you have the time and want to check out how REAL motorcycle forks are made, find the Wasp factory.  I can guarantee it will be worth your time, as long as you can appreciate old world craftsmanship.  Mark is the guy I am dealing with on the Leading Links for the Valk.  Rob is the owner, about 80!
Seriously, I think it would be a hoot to visit them.

A Brit on the XR1200 forum was kind enough to visit them when I was having my Leading Links made for the XR.  They (Wasp) had not done a set for the XR and needed some measurement.  he said it was the coolest bike shop he had ever been in.

IIRC, they are not too far from Stonehenge.

I would call before stopping by; and mentioning my name might get you a beer...  or a boot out the door... Grin

10cc album "Deceptive Bends"  was named after a road sign near Box Hill.

I used to go there at least once a month when I was a bike messenger in London.

I'm only about 40 miles from Box Hill so call in there regularly...Never knew that about 10cc..will store that away for future reference....
