the "Money Shot"   After InZane, we continued on across the northern States and up to Nova Scotia. From there we caught the ferry to Newfoundland. It was at a place called "Kings Point" that for the first time in my life I had the privilege of seeing my first iceberg in real!!! Totally amazing to me. I have another picture of it with a boat beside it which really puts it size in to perspective. |

In Chrome if you right click on the broken image and select "Inspect Element" it'll show you the HTML code behind it, you can dig through that code and figure out what the image referral was pointing to, in this case this was the URL to the image: https://mdneqg-sn3301.files.1drv.com/y3pQRZnOcn-tuhl8_wS7orZHh8craBrgs6hhFjtyC0iJtpY1iODbCLAZJsHLkWpTj_XnfkWe8qaWfPh-i_IvSWnftDqcJMpHTQ9SjfxBBYRFp8Ymchfu9lFw2ArReP4fVS6w6Qv_LFTuMSE4srjAEJDn2aZ5RxjHcrywUOU4WL-Nlk/IMG_1620%20%28800x600%29.jpgLooking at the URL I saw that the server name is "1drv.com" and I knew that's used as part of Microsft's One Drive cloud storage system. I do that because sometimes the URL to the image got mangled and I can figure out what it was and I'll correct it for 'em, but if the image is locked away inside their cloud storage, all I can do is point that out to 'em. |

In 2013 I rode the Valk to Newfoundland, while staying at Gros Morne national park I stopped by a local bar and had beer made from water that they got from going out and getting from icebergs. Although I didn't see any icebergs I saw lots of whales.
Great picture of the iceberg. As noted above a great calendar picture.

If you stare at the Valkyrie for 30 seconds an iceberg will appear? Hey! That is the same Drift camera I got! |

Yes, I had the bike set up this way at InZane. I used the mounting hardware from the trunk to secure two pieces of square aluminum tubing two feet long to my luggage rack. I moved the trunk forward and drilled holes in the tubing to match the trunk studs and mounted the trunk so that it gave me more back support. That allowed me room for the barrel which came in very handy. The only caution is to keep the load balanced in both as I did crack the luggage rack after hitting a very deep manhole in Quebec City. I had way to much weight in the barrel and I'm sure if I'd a realized that earlier it would not have been a problem. I have to order a new rack as they are just pot metal ........... think I;ll look for a steel one. |

A little bit of this maybe .......... great beer..........one of the best I've had!!  If you take a look in the bottom right corner, the "brew master" is reeling in a chunk for the next batch!!  This was the second iceberg I saw in real. I included the guy in the picture for size reference. |
