German engineering at its best. This is a beautiful set up indeed, wish I could afford something like this.

It is kinda good looking. The only problem such designs have had is making the wings look good when folded/stowed. It's getting there.

Well aware of that, but that doesn't mean it's not interesting. Example: My wife at 76 is younger than I am, some might call her old but I still find her quite interesting.....as do a lot of people.  Wink

Wouldn't it be easier to make it street legal in the US  if it only had three wheels.

Seems to make more sense to build a street legal airplane than to build a car that flies. I like it.

I am.....in my mind's eye. Then I go in to shave and it's GOOD GRIEF....who's that old fart. What happened, where did all that time go? Grin  It's tough having a 39 yr. old desire(or even a 55 yr. old) in a 77 yr. old body.  Wink

Did you get my email the other day re. going to Boondocks? Would have come in under stuffy402.

Here's another car/plane that's quite a bit more of a leap. Just press the play button on the link.

Ramrod's not boondocks. Now the Torch keys, that's a different story.

Not quite sure what you mean. Boondocks on Ramrod is across the road. We do tend to prefer the TikiBar [ Looe Key]but, its changed hands and isn't the same., but, Boondocks apparently has a new cook as its gotten much better lately.
On Little Torch we used to like the old Parrotdise, but, its changed hands a couple times in recent years and was closed for quite awhile.

Duh, I think it took awhile.  Yep, the north portion of the Torch's and the offshore islands [ Content, etc] are out in the boondocks.

I don't really need a car that turns into an airplane.

Once in a while, I wish I had a car that turned into an M1 Abrams (or at least a Bradley, LAV or Striker)
