Sat, some are reporting 60% chance of rain, still playing it by ear.  Hoping for a dry Sat.

Life is like a hot bath. It feels good while you're in it, but the longer you stay in, the more wrinkled you get.

OnaWingandaPrayer

me too . My wing is down for maintenance and need a dry day to work on it. :(

Ok I c TWC says 80% rain and it is showing AM as the time for it.    I will recheck around 5p about the time I start thinking about going home from work. Iffen it still looks poopie I will not bother leaving palmagetto.  I will post after 6p what I am doing.   So looking forward to cooler temps 3 speerate 1week vacations starting end of next month.   Mega ride time.

Looking bad for sure.  Did 120 miles yesterday and the heat with the humidity had me regretting I didn't bring a drink.  Saw lots of flooded street signs with no flooding, and one with flooding.  If we ride the group should be mindful of possible flooding.

Will check again after 6 PM.

Gill you have been to Siberia and back on motorbikes and you don't know about hydration packs?     :2funny:

Don't answer  :coolsmiley:

So. Looks like I will stay south of the bridge tomorrow.

Flrider

Just got home and looks like everyone is staying home tomorrow, maybe we will try again in a month. Be safe everyone  :cooldude:

Well crap, guess I'll finish taking the forks apart on the 1200. Got one disassembled....what a smelly mess. Oil smelled rotten and was thick as pig snot, no telling how long it's been in there. When I removed the cap on the first fork, I aimed it out the door. Got about 10' out of it when the sucker came loose and flew off.  ;D

Thank goodness I have a sonic cleaner, sure saves time on the little stuff.  :cooldude:

hummm spotty but heavy and coming from the NW    Great day to pick up Mike in the cage and go out for B-fast, who is doing much better and will go on a heart transplant list in September.   We will find a better day soon for the hills of Claremont.

Bronxboy

Took the Truck up to the Weeki Wachee area earlier, and it poured the entire ride up & back  :crazy2:

I think it is time for a good Single Malt & a Cigar  :cooldude:

We had a cloud burst here for a couple hrs.  Spent the day working on the wife's car, replaced the front bumper shroud/fascia that was cracked from catching it on a curb, also did a tune up. Worst car I ever put plugs in, had to remove the entire intake system just to get to the plugs.  Wonder what screw ball engineer came up with that design.

Not like my 63 - inline 6 Chevy or my 79 4x4 GMC where you could sit under the hood on the wheel well and work with most everything right there.  It has all changed, thankfully cars don't give us near as much trouble anymore.

Not a PT Cruiser, every thing is a pain in the ass to work on, Hers is going to need timing belts in a few months, going to the dealer for that, half the suspension needs to be dropped, and the engine lifted and slid over to get to them, more crap than I want to do.
