There is no end to the left's hatred of this country and all it represents and no road too low that they won't go to destroy it.
It also does NOT surprise me that our resident libs on this board do not find this outrageous.
Its one friggin dude ! Obama is just one friggin dude. Stalin was just one friggin dude. Carl Marx was just one friggin dude. Pol Pot was just one friggin dude. Mao was just one friggin dude. I have yet to hear one word of outrage at this one friggin dude's article from any of this board's libs/dems/progressives/socialists or whatever it is that ya'll call yourselves these days. Just ourtrage at us. Speaks volumes to me. Well said BF. You do realize that you're comparing a glorified blogger to megalomaniacs that killed millions of people. Not reeeeally the same thing.

At least you didn't contend that Obama is a megalomaniac.

Errr.... who does this sound like Megalomania is a psychopathological condition characterized by delusional fantasies of power, relevance, omnipotence, and by inflated self-esteem.

Note that I wrote Obama is a megalomaniac. What is most scary about him is his power is not delusional, and is becoming more self-appointed than a Constitution-based Democracy should allow.

This went waaay off the rails. This is like a winter thread when everybody has cabin fever. The POW flag has always been uncomfortable to me. When I was in E.E.&I. it became more uncomfortable. I believe I read there was 75,000, POW/MIA. I'll bet theyre uncomfortable. I fly the POW flag beneath Old Glory on several days throughout the year. (E.E.& I.) Escape, Evade, Interdict. Nothing could take the suck from that. SERE now.

Posted this on a friend's facebook page, thought it would be appropriate here as well.
I think a very public campaign geared toward the advertisers in Newsweek would be in order.
Let them know their advertising dollars just went to support Newsweek's disrespect, humiliation and dishonor of our POW/MIAs by publishing and giving standing to Mr. Perlstein's opinion and until there is a public apology and the permanent dismissal of Mr. Perlstein from their contributing journalist list, nobody will be purchasing their products or services. Start with State Farm Ins. and have the campaign originate from a Veteran's group. Mr. Perlstein will never see it coming.
Newsweek does have the Constitutionally Protected right to publish what they wish. But there are responsibilities and consequences for exercising those rights. This is a country of FREE people who must take responsibility for their actions, good or bad. This is not a free country that you can do anything without repercussions.
I hope to see such a move against Newsweek and look forward to joining it.

It's not a bad idea. But it looks like he works for the Washington Spectator and Newsweek reprinted it.

Well Well Well..... Looks like this trash has hit the mainstream media now.
"Controversial column declares POW/MIA flag 'racist'
Aug. 12, 2015 - 4:33 - Writer Rick Perlstein says banner was designed to justify carnage and distract from alleged American war crimes"
What was that we read earlier about the "right" jumping off a cliff on this one?
And this, from a writer who has probably never worked an honest day in his life (you know, a physical job....one that builds character). Wonder where young Rick went to school and college.....

I'm not a writer and the only jobs I've ever had were physical ones. But I doubt they have anything to do with character. There are people in all walks of life that are character deficient.
