This has been reported:


Daniel Snyder, owner of the Washington Redskins NFL team, has
announced that the team name will be changed. Surveys have shown that the word
'Washington' imparts a negative image of corruption, cheating, indecision, betrayal,
unfaithfulness, adultery, fornication, lying, hypocrisy and perversion. The name is
therefore not suitable for football fans to emulate.

The team will now be simply known as The Redskins   Wink

Why not name them the "Washington Politicians"?  Or would that be redundant based upon your definition?
