Hey all

Just got back to my hotel with a black 1999 standard. With 26k on it.
Feels like I'm on a New Bike

Anyway it's got a fairing with a short windshield and integrated headlight.......and I hate it

I need a valk headlight to replace this POS.

Should I get a used one it what?

It's a rifle faring with a short windshield and built in headlight. Music system too. I need a bigger windshield and don't think they make a taller one for it.

I think I will have to get all the parts to rstote it back to a stock headlight then put a separate windshield, probably Memphis shades

Still thinking on things

I assume the bucket is one of the parts I will need? I'm planning on having the work done in helper utah, next week.

Its the logistics of getting a parts list then getting parts shipped-paid

What else would I need in addition to the bucket

Well I was thinking that you would wait til you got home . But what I have is the headlight with bucket. Without seeing the butcher job done by PO to put aftermarket light on who knows what you need.

I am new here and have a 97 tourer.  I am thinking you have the Rifle Raven fairing.  It is one of three I am interested in putting one on mine but Rifle's website does not have a good pic of the inner fairing of info. on it.  How many and what size are the speakers and radio opening.  Do the speed and tach need to be moved to the handlebars?  Overall opinion of it.  I have bought other Rifle screens and lowers with good success.  Pic would be helpful also.

By the way Rifle does sell larger screens for the raven.
Thanks in advance

If rifle has a larger screen that might be a perfect fix. I'm getting old girl towed towed tomorrow. Then I'll be in Provo area till September. I'm gonna have sound system removed and saved. Is the raven have its own headlight? That's what I got and the short shield is hurting my neck

Rifle makes the screen in 14, 16, and 18 or custom size.  They also integrate their sealed beam or for extra a diamond cut h4 halogen upgrade into the fairing.  I just need to know about the cut outs for speakers and receivers as I want to install a killer audio. Also do the gauges need to be moved.

For those saying get a Woody's I am  aware of Glen's excellent fairing and that along with a wide open custom ( as no relocating the gauges ) are the only others I would get.  There is something unique to me about the Rifle as it is different and I have a paint scheme for it in mind.  Heck the Valkyrie is already a most unique bike especially with the Harley crowd I hang and ride with.  About a month ago one of them said why do I not have a Harley?  I said simply ( as my friend Jeff who owns a Harley repair was wrenching on his bike underneath it which he has to to all their Harleys constantly )  because I like to ride everyday.  Now of course there are many reasons to own a Valkyrie but I left it at that.  Jeff told them this was not the first time he heard that.
