If I'm successful, I'll post on here in case anyone wants to join us at Boondocks. It would probably be around 2:00pm, give/take. Here's hoping she can do it. Keep in mind, she has a very weak voice now and can hardly be heard across the table. It embarrasses her but I tell her people really do understand her situation and she shouldn't isolate herself.

I'll know better Sunday morning so check back if interested.

John. What time are you planning on being there?
Lesa and I have tentative plans to be down the street at a party on Sunday afternoon but can be late for that. As you know, we would like to meet Rita.

Let us know, just talked to the wife, and we can drive up after church. Love to see Rita again, has been a while.

Life is like a hot bath. It feels good while you're in it, but the longer you stay in, the more wrinkled you get.

Early service should get out ~10:00am, depending on how long winded the pastor is tomorrow.  ;)  If she's up to the drive, I'm hoping to be there close to noon or shortly thereafter. Most likely closer to 1:00 if she can do it. Her morning meds often make her real sick for 2-3 hrs., but I've found out over the years that getting her out of the house and her mind off things seems to help. I'll try to post here just before we leave, it's only about 45 miles.

We cannot make until about 1:30 as our church gets out at noon. So I guess we will pass.

Anna informed me if you are still going to be there around lunch time, we will just make sunday school, and head up after that. Should be able to make it around noon. Let me know, Thanks.

OK, she said we can try. So, figure between 12 & 1:00, going to try for a little earlier but won't be by much. All depends if she's up and dressed when I get back from church around 10:30.

Grumpy

We will see you there, some where around noon. I need to get my wife out also.

She was glad she made the effort and said it was good to see friends again, both new and old, outside our four walls. She was surprised to hear Lesa also rides and thought that was kinda neat. She enjoyed meeting her and Pappy, just wished she could talk loud enough to carry on a conversation.

She also said it occured to her after hearing about some of our teenage antics....."probably a good thing you two didn't grow up in the same town."  Probably right.   ;D

That's really great that y'all got to get out and have a nice lunch in a nice place, even without involving motorcycles. I wish I could have gotten my wife out and joined you but "Stupid Work" seems to always get in the way. Would have been nice to see Pappy and Lesa too. Haven't seen them since Maggie.  :cooldude:
I still miss her.
