new ride

Hi all:
Just added a very special stable mate for my 99 IS. Ran across it on Craigslist and just happened to be the first on on the scene to grab it, as there were many trying to lay hands on it. Anyway its a beauty. 1985 Goldwing SE gold and brown, absolutely flawless, with all the goodies, and here is the best part; only 23000 actual miles, runs like a top but as one might expect somethings will, of course need attention. At this time all appears to be in order with the exception of the front brakes (little stiff), the dog bone fuse, and a squeal when starting, sounds like a car with a loose fan belt. I will post photos when I get the time, and I will not say how much I paid for it as not many would believe it, so that will remain my closely guarded secret.

Guessing it has a little i right after the SE...which means she's injected. They certainly do run pretty smooth!

I've seen some very nice pics lately on craigslist as well of lower mileage 84-85 Wings in the 2 grand range as well nicely equipped. Not sure if SE or just Interstate model though.
