I am considering having my 97 tourer triked. I am getting older and  need to consider 3 wheels . Can anyone recommend a good  shop to do the work if I decide to do this . Will probably go with a Roadsmith kit. Thanks,  Elliott in East Texas.

I looked at it also but found it was a lot more ecomical to buy an existing trike and sell my I/S.
There have been several on flee bay and CL lately.
BTW, best decision I've made in a while.

I have a patient that is trying to sell her late husband's trike.  Most of the members know the bike as he has ridden with the group several times.  Yellow and white and includes a transport trailer that used to be mine.  I can give you details.  PM me if interested.

Agree with RDABull on money efficiency, unless you have a big, sentimental attachment to your current bike. If you do decide to have it triked, I can vouch for the FX6 triple trees. Really nice workmanship in them.  I put them on my sidecar rig to ease the steering and they are stout. Based on my experience, I do recommend an occasional check to make sure bolts stay tight.
