Agreed....his term as President was, in a word, horrible. But there is no denying that his humanitarian accomplishments worldwide have bettered the lives of millions. I wish him the best on his latest struggle.

I wouldn't say horrible. WE need to look at the current Presidency on that one. Not that I know squat diddly on political issues though.

I wish him all the best. I remember his Presidency well. A disaster. At least the current POTUS has rescued him from being the worst. He is a good man, and has lived a Godly life. All the best to him.

Cannot add much to this that would not just sound mean or vile. I would not wish his illness on anyone, period.

His Presidency was a disaster but pale on comparison to what has been happening now. However his achivements after that is what he will be remembered for that being humanitarian. Instead of using his Presidency as a springboard for financial innurment and wealth like some others ( I am sure we know who ) he used it for good and righteous deeds. Wish him a speedy recovery and health.

Former President Carter's actions while in office were not intentional or with a "holier than thou" attitude that the current POTUS has. Just my humble opinion... Former President Carter's work after his presidency is something to be very proud of!! Get Well Soon Mr. Carter!

Agreed. I think he will be remembered for the "Camp David Accords" also.

Very humble man. He was wrong on most of the issues and continues to back the wrong side. I hope he's right with God.

I have always said that Jimmy Carter was TOO Honest to be a good President.
While his views are now more Liberal than I care for, I do believe that he is a GOOD Man.
I wish him all the best and hope that God's healing hand is upon him.

Didnt care for him, he was holier than though telling you how you should live, (sweater in the oval office commercials) screwing vets out of the GI bill. He accomplished nothing. His "peace accords" were meetings to have meetings that solved nothing. Americans were held hostage for 444 days under his leadership and the country was a worldwide joke (like now). He gave away the Panama Canal and created the Dept. of Ed. He now looks good because he is a figurehead that gives away OPM.
That said, I wouldnt wish cancer on anyone and I hope he beats it.
