So many colors to choose from yet so few stand out

I hope this guy is around when one of us need some help.

I often wonder who in my group is CPR certified.    I've been certified and re-certified for the past 40 years.    Could I, Would I?   Yep, in a heart beat.

A genuine hero.  cooldude  Note that the trooper was not concerned with the truck driver's ethnicity or political affiliation whatsoever.

Yep, that Trooper is a hero, in my book. And Ron, thank you also, for being Certified and ready! If you've already put your training into practice, God Bless You!

Ya know, this is kind of disappointing to me and, a bit of a concern.   ???   Is no one else CPR certified?

Kind of nice to know that someone else along on a ride is qualified to help others, I guess if it's me that needs help, I'll try to wave as  you folks ride by.    Sad

I've only had to use CPR once in the last 40+ years and that turned out well.

She was 22 and I just knew she needed chest compressions.................   Wait, that's a different story.   Yeah, several years ago, a 50ish woman collapse near me, she needed CPR and three folks there were certified.   Her lucky day.   Took about 30 minutes for EMS to arrive.    You have no idea how strenuous it is giving CPR by yourself, I don't think I could do it for 10 minutes by myself.

CPR certified and an EMT for a volunteer fire dept for over 20 years.  Many on here are EMT licensed. Have seen several instances where people from our group have jumped in and helped others on the road when needed. Twice it has been someone in our group that needed help. If someone needs assistance, I will have no problem rendering aid.

I get certified every year, my job required it when I was younger. 18 and working with heavy equipment in the middle of nowhere we all got certified every year. Now being an electrician, my company sends a small group of us to OSHA training every year and 4 of us to CPR classes every year.

I've been trained but it's been 20 years or more though. Work used to have us recertified but they cut back on stuff that wasn't making them money. Although I think I still remember everything.

Outstanding, you guys are making me feel better about this.

As a rider that had two heart surgeries, I like knowing there is help available.   Thanks for standing up.

On a side note, I'm too damn good looking to die on the side of the road.   Wink

Nothing now but, I think he was insinuating that was how long ago he got certified.
Let's see, I remember using a dime back when I was a teenager.     Shocked   Yikes!!!!!

They are all pay phones now,  Angry just most are direct withdrawal and I'm thinking more than a dime. Come to think of it, been awhile since I've seen a dime.  Grin

Trained in cadets at age 12. Now 52, and have been certified on/off a few of those years in between.

I say Thank God to the Good Samaritan laws.

I just looked up the current recommended procedure, to refresh my own memory.
