I bought my wife a new shadow spirit  VT750C2.  Had it over a year now, If anyone has one of these, does the rear end make a lot of noise when you get off the gas and decelerate? Mine sounds like a wind up toy when coasting to a stop. Checked the rear oil, looks good. Sure is different than my Valk. Thanks

Don't know about the 705cc but I had an 1100 and it was quiet, no noise and after 86000 miles never had any rear end trouble.

I also had a 1100 spirit (2006), she didn't make any noise like you are hearing.

Transmission whine sounds like a wind-up toy at low speeds.
