J and I are having a baby! I am due March 23rd and we could not be happier! I am so thrilled to be apart of this great club and I can't wait for my child to grow up knowing and loving you folks as well. Our families are very happy for us and we can't wait to embark on this adventure together. We have so many things to be thankful for right now and we welcome any prayers you may choose to send our way during this chapter of our lives.
WE ARE SO EXCITED!!!

That is great. Our kids have moved out but we have wonderful memories of them growing up.
You are going to have a great time with the newest member of your family.
Prayers for a healthy and happy baby. Smiley

Congratulations!   cooldude

I wasn't ready for this.  It seems like just yesterday you were fourteen and I had not prepared myself.   Wait!  That means a couple of people are about to become Grandma Kim and Grandpa Damon.  Wow!  Now there's a mental image I wasn't ready for.

You'll do great, Maddy.  You've been trained by the best.

Congrats to Madison and J. Kim is more excited than I am. She was born to be a Grandma and can't wait. I'm good with it but instead of seven months out I figure I'm about seventeen months out. It's not that I don't like babies I just never knew what to do with them. They are kinda boring, but toddlers that's where it's at. When they hit that stage I'm all in. I have every confidence in Madison and J to be great parents.  cooldude

I hear you there!

And, you get to hand them over to get the diaper changed.  And when you get tired, or they get cranky, you get to have them go home!

BTW, I have 7!

LOL

Yes, I also, guys.  It aggravates Mama when I tell folks I'm not much interested in them when they're in the larval stage.

I'm sure it will be different with Madison's baby.

G'pa D!  I know exactly what you are talking about...  Went to St. Louis and hung out for the weekend with Chip and his wife last weekend and on the way home we picked up my little man this:

It's gonna be fun next year.  He won't get it until Christmas and will ride it next spring.

and a special congrats to you Lil'Bit!  So happy for the two of you!
