On the LPH 11 we were drinking beer and chasing women. Playing cards was for out to sea.

When we were stationed in Japan IF there was no entertainment at the E M club-mon tue wed thr-bottle beer was a nickel and if I rekemember right pizzas were .75 cents or a dollar. When I was on the ship it was cards-NOT limited to poker-acey duecy-and the mighty gallopin dominoes-better known as craps to you non service types!  Been known to put $500.00 on 1 pass of the dominoes and call with not even a pair!  1964  1968-might have been at war but we tried to throw in a bit of fun now and then  There wasn't SUPPOSED to be alcohol on the ship!  ???  RIDE SAFE.
