We will meet you in Podunk.
Let's hope the weather is good.
Let's RIDE

da prez

We are planning on making it. It will depend on my help as we have a vacant apartment that is leased and needs to be ready by Monday.

Prez, looking forward to it. Hopefully it will work out.

Weather says a bit of rain early Saturday morning. The rest of the day looks good. For those who answered "depends on the weather" we will put you down as "maybe". Unless it's pouring rain, we are going. Hope you won't let a little rain stop you.

Thanks Rocky for letting us know. We will be there.

In case anybody is wondering. The ride is still on. Rain all night finally lightening up. Looks like it will end here soon. I just talked to Rocky in Jannesville and he said it was not raining there. So kickstands up at 9, if we have to wait until 9:30 or so that will be ok.

Don

10:22. I arrived. Had rain pretty much the whole first hundred miles.
But they say you meet the nicest people on a Honda. So don't anybody show up grumpy!  :D

Sorry guys,  didn't make it had a headache and took a nap from 11-1 or so not feeling well after waking up at 8.  Still have a headache but somewhat better.  Was planning on going otherwise.

Let's see some pics when you guys get back and where you all went, etc.

It was a wet but good ride and we ate some great food (Sorry no pictures). it was 200 miles there and 218 miles home.  We took the scenic route.

This was a mason lodge right next to the restaurant an older gentleman was more than happy to show it to us he also took the group picture.

Thanks for posting this, Jack. It was nice meeting you and the gang. It was well worth the hundred miles of rain that I rode through to get there.
Our 2 F6bs looked good as well as seeing all the Valks.
The food was delicious and the service was great. Podunks was a winner.
Thanks to Barbo and Tonya for working out the details and Don for extending the invite!

I was on the fence about going...  Woke up to pretty steady rain, and it wasn't looking good...  Finally decided to drag out the rain gear and head out to Don n Barbs...

Glad I did  :cooldude:  Ran through maybe 30 minutes of rain, then just cool n cloudy.  Had a fun time, the food was great, and as always, great to see both old and new friends  ;D

Once within 10 miles from home (of a 250 mile round trip), the rain started again (or maybe never left my area).  Got home a bit damp and chilled, but nothing a hot shower and a scotch couldn't cure  ;)

Kudos to Barb and anyone else involved in the planning.  Lookin' forward to the 2nd annual 'Podunk Run'...

P.S. - Hey Barb, turn off yer turn signal  :coolsmiley:
Just when the highway straightened out for a mile
And I was thinkin' I'd just cruise for a while
A fork in the road brought a new episode
Don't you know...

Conform, go crazy, or ride a motorcycle...

I had a great time too - a little rain, but not bad.   A nice ride, good food, great people!
I didn't get any pics of food but I got one of everyone fixin' to order food. Can't wait for next year.

It's not WHAT you ride....it's  THAT you ride!
