I was out for a ride today and went through Dundee, WI.  There are twisties in the area so it attracts a lot of bikers.  In Dundee there is a biker bar ( 99% HDs) and a small grill and ice cream shop that attracts  a lot of bikers even Hondas.
Any way, I passed a group of HD riders getting ready to ride and because I was stuck behind slow traffic they were soon behind me.  So there I was, the lead bike for about twenty HDs.  Fifteen miles later they turned off and I was alone.
I've run into HD riders out there who drank the coolade and wanted to start trouble so I didn't know what to expct.  All was OK though.
The link below is a video of the ride from a couple of years ago.  Today I went the other direction.

is everyone in that area away on vacation or something, there's no one on the road except for a few cars and trucks here and there through the whole video. I'm jealous.

Probably not a main hwy.  around there until you get over by Sheboygan and Kohler Andre State Park - nice area!

A few weeks ago I was going to pass 4 HD riders on my Valk since putzing along at 50-55 mph tops, but decided not to since 2-3 miles up ahead I knew there was a small town.  Sure glad I didn't, since as you know they stopped at the local watering hole downtown so I passed them after that.  HD's and bars go hand and hand.    Grin

I made the video in the fall and on a week day to keep away from the crowds.
BTW I live on the north end of Kohler Andre.  Right now our neighborhood is fighting Kohlers plans for a golf course between the park and us.
If you're interested visit this site.  ( The first two photos in the photo section are mine.)

Dundee sounded familiar, so I had to look it up.  I see it's in the Kettle Morraine State Forest north of West Bend.  That is an area in which I liked to ride in the 60's.  At that time I lived in Mikwaukee and Madison.  We have similar, unencumbered roads around here, especially on Sundays during football season.  Nice video...

Was the 'Biker Bar' called the Roadhouse?

I live about 30 miles south of Dundee, and was at that bar with my Valk (a friend had a party there)...  Lotsa Outlaws and Top Hats had me watching my baby closer than normal  Undecided

After the party, when leaving, struck up a conversation with a few Outlaws MC Club members.  They were very interested in the Valk, and got a kick out of the 'Nickle Trick'  Wink  Some nice guys.

They wished me safe winds, and I pulled out smiling...

Just when the highway straightened out for a mile
And I was thinkin' I'd just cruise for a while
A fork in the road brought a new episode
Don't you know...

Conform, go crazy, or ride a motorcycle...
