Me and my Valk at Freedom Rock

« on: September 03, 2015, 01:15:21 PM »

Got a 99 interstate w/fog light accessory (Honda)

Wiping the bike down this morning and discovered the left fog light lens is cracked. Appearance suggests a small rock. (Looks like itsy bitsy bullet hole)
Much condensation inside the lens.

Went to dealer in nearby town. The parts guy, who is a legend in these parts as parts guys go, was stumped on where to get a replacement lens. He called around to other part people and still nada.

So I now come here, to the Mecca of all Valkyrie knowledge.

Where does one get a replacement lens and how hard is it to replace?

Still kinda new at this Interstate thing.

I think a 05 or 07 honda pilot uses the same ones. HayHauler  told me at GOTF and i think thats what he said.

Check out this thread. Seems like a couple viable options.  cooldude
