...Well...its was a long, nice...bike less...Summer..
. . ...But we finally got a new Valk, that was way beyond my expectations, and yesterday
we met Scott and Lauri for breakfast at a place that is now definitely on our "list".
Then we all headed out and got some sweet wind for the afternoon.
It was a great ride, but HOT...in the mid to high 80,s, which is rare
around these parts.
Here we are at a gas station, and Chili is trying on
Scotts new Kawi for size.. . . ...and yes...thats my new "other baby" in the background.
. ....It was a great afternoon of exploring some sweet wind, but when we got back
to our place we were all a little over heated, so we got our swimsuits on, hopped
in Chilis truck and headed on down to the local swimming hole on the Ausable River.
After exploring the wind all afternoon and cooling off in the river, we had all developed
a definite "hunger"....So we headed back to our place and I fired up the grille.
Now Scott, Lauri and Chili all like their burgers the same way I do, so it was a pleasure
to grille em some of my BABZ. Matter of fact when I asked Lauri how she wanted her
burger she matter of factly replied....I want it to moo ! So I cooked up some BABZ,
and Chili whipped up some of her fried squash and we feasted !
. ...Yes, thats my BAB...we had some left over portabello shrooms in the fridge,
so we all decided we whould just put an entire shroom cap on each burger.
With grilled onions underneath...two kinds of cheese...slice O mater on the bottom
....and of course a couple slices of bacon to crown it.. .
. ....Summer may be over....but we are BACK in the wind ! ..
