I was with the PGR yesterday for the funeral. There were police units from at least five states . homeland security, all branches of the service ,forest rangers , fire departments and onlookers (wrong word) beyond belief.  When I parked my bike there were about three hundred others and a small route thru. That quickly got locked up. In the lot I was in , about 500 bikes or so . There were other lots and a flag line that was extremely long. It was a very hot day and local businesses were passing out water to everyone. The funeral route was about eighteen miles and was lined with people all the way. It was a sad sendoff for a needless death. On the news when I got home was stories of three other officers shot ambush style.

It's all bass-ackwards, that's for sure.  The thugs (oh yeah that's a racial slur) of all colors are portrayed in media as the helpless victims, fighting for their civil liberties.  The police, who are sworn to protect those liberties even at their their hate marches (whadda we want...), are the brutal monsters.  And the King in the White House does little to calm the rhetoric and violence.

I'm not sure which media you read but I haven't seen criminals described as "helpless victims fighting for their civil liberties".  Smiley
