My oxygen tech showed up today with my concentrator O2 bottles regulators cart carrying bag and cannulas. R J-2 liters per minute after exertion. NOT on O2 for 24/7. And the tech splained it all very well. The fact I worked with O2 in the Navy made it easier for him and me. Have to let our Fire Dept know I now have this equipment in my Lacasa. Got done with my lawn yesterday-VERY hot and humid-could have used the O2 Then!  Oh and B T W-V A picking up the entire tab for my O2.  Tech informed me the concentrator is a grand or more by it self.  Got a picture of a guy who lit a cigarette while using O2-1st and 2nd degree burns all over his face.  I no longer smoke so a non issue.  RIDE SAFE.

Glad it's working for you! Definitely use it when you need it...Been on medicals where the person in medical distress is on O2, setting in a chair,  and saying he / she are having difficulties breathing. AS you walk through the door you can see and smell they are or have been smoking a cigarrett and the ash tray next to them is full. IN the winter the heat is usually on "melt". I don't know how anyone breaths in a house that hot either! When you ask them what their medical conditon is they usually have COPD or emphizima or both. Gee, wonder why you are in respiratory distress, look in the ash tray!  Doctors have told them to quit smoking but they don't.
     Most of these people we deal with are frequent fliers so we usually know what we are getting in to. Haven't seen anyone burn themselves up yet but I know some that should have!

Glad you got taken care of, Dennis. Nothing sucks like not being able to breath properly.

Even better that the VA is stepping up. You EARNED that!
