We went to the Dr yesterday and this was his findings Shelia has all bones on top of left hand broken and will have pin, screws, plates put in on tuesday and the ribs they just have to heal. Myself after he twisted pushed and everything else he was able to put a cast on my left leg for broken ankle. Rib just have to heal. We can't thank everyone enough for all the love and support we have be given THANK YOU ALL.  Now on a liter note when at the Dr we were asked any questions so i asked will Shelia lose any mobility in her hand and she pipes up and tells him yes doc thats my clucth hand and it has to work. cooldude

I've got a little metal in my head and wrist from my first Interstate wreck in O7. It's not so bad to
have a little bionics in me.

And it makes for really cool X-Rays to show the Grandkids.  Grin  Cheesy  Wink

LOL!  The good news is that the metal they use doesn't set off metal detectors.  Makes one wonder why someone hasn't developed a titanium handgun.

They are much more quick these days to move to plates and screws.  It doesn't mean the injuries are worse just that that is what the medical people find most effective and readily done.  Plates and pins in place may have a smaller impact of bringing on arthritis with age.

Get healed folks.  I'm glad it wasn't any more severe than it was.  I'm sorry you have to put up with the healing bones.

SHELIA AND DENNIS,

So glad to hear that you are both healing and sending up prayers that you will both be in the wind.  I was a lot worried when I read that you went down.  Good to hear the good news.  Hope to share some wind again like we did in Corbin, Ky.  I miss the pralines !!!!!

When I came up behind you it put a knot in my belly that stayed there for a few hours.  You were trying get up and Shelia was just laying there.  It sure didn't look good.  I am so glad that it came out better than I thought it might.  There were and still are a lot of people thinking about you and sending up prayers of thanksgiving for you two and Bill & Trish.

When he was trying to get up, he was calling out to Shelia... he was thinking about her...

I was the first one up to them, they were lying flat on their backs, not contorted, not bleeding, their
eyes were open... I told Shelia not to move... right away there were many others there too... I moved
away... ran back five miles to the highest point in search of cell coverage... It is a helpless feeling when
your friends are hurt. We need Fudgie to go on every ride...

I've been at a crash with Joe, he is great at comforting the hurt person... DG seemed to
be good at that too...
