Very nice. I'm envious - we've always wanted to do that. What part of the country were you in?

We did 1200 miles. Which covered a lot of the country. From Dublin down to Cork, over to the Ring of Kerry, up the west coast, then barely into Northern Ireland to take the girls to the Baleek factory, then back across the country and back to Dublin. It was expensive for the bike rental and airfare, but everything else was pretty good. It was the best trip I`ve been on ! The people really made the trip. EVERYBODY was super helpful and friendly. We did have 1 taxi driver the last day that wasn`t friendly but 1 out of probably 200 people or more that we encountered is pretty good. Just editing the footage is making me want to go back.

We just got back from Ireland last night. I recognize a number of the locations and roads. Told my wife next time we will rent a bike. Did you ride through the Gap of Dunlow?

Sadly no. It was on our agenda but time got the best of us at the end and the women folk were getting wore down on the BMW's. We are pretty spoiled on our Valkyrie and my buddies Royal Star. It's a great country isn't it ?

Very nice. Exceptional Wx Usually Ireland is raingear country It was in the 70's and sunny every day we were on the bikes. The day we returned the bikes it started to rain later and it rained our last day in while in Dublin. Everybody kept telling us how lucky we were with the weather.

Nice Meathead! Great scenery, but is that an electric bike ...QUIET! I think it was because I had my camera in a case on my helmet. My buddy's camera was on the handlebars without a case and it was much louder.

A friend of mine used to make the trip every year. He wouldn't reserve a hotel, only a car and he and his wife would just head into the countryside with no particular itinerary. When they'd stop at little village, they'd ask the locals what's good to go see in the area and where's a nice place to stay and they'd more suggestions than they had time for. I've always wanted to go to Galway and Sligo mainly for the music that comes out of that part of the country.

Thats kind of what we did, we had a room the first and last nights. The rest we just winged it. As far as the music, we went in a little dinky pub in Doolin to eat and have a couple beers. After an hour or so people just start packing in. You couldn't have got one more person in there. These 3 guys start playing and it was PHENOMENAL ! One of them had some kind of modern bagpipe thing. I wish I could have gotten some good video but it was too dark and it just came out all black. Anyway I highly recommend you do the trip if you can. It was one of those things that's etched in my memory forever.

Cool video. As I was watching it, I couldn't help but think that some music by U2 would've made a fitting soundtrack.
