If you're gonna hit the high country of Colorado, you'd better do it on your way out to the west coast.
I feel a nip in the air and I'll place bets that it'll be snowing by the middle of October above 10,000 ft.
Trees are already turning and Leadville hit 31 degrees the other night; that's a true indicator of what's coming. cooldude
Ski areas on the Divide will start making snow in about 10 days or so; the guns are set up and all they need is the right temps, humidity levels and water.
