Sometimes ya just gotta go...

Winter Springs, FL - Occasionally...

« on: September 15, 2015, 09:48:09 AM »

I just heard from Dennis that Shelia's (Water bug) surgery went longer than expected because the damage was a bit more extensive than they'd thought. She is out of surgery now. Everything went well, and the doctor expects that she will have a complete as in 100% recovery! Soon her gesture finger and clutch hand will be in good working order, so she'll be able to ride again after healing! Stay tuned...

Good to hear of successful surgery, especially so she can "wave" at Dennis in a proper fashion.  cooldude  As for his little scooter, some kids down the street were riding one their mom had to use for a while. It was a riot to watch them, one has a mid-sized dog and had him pulling the scoot...just flying down the sidewalk. Seems he spotted a squirrel and away they went. Next time out I noticed they were both wearing headgear and pads, apparently mom insisted on a bit of protection.

Seems I remember seeing a squirrel with headgear...
