It is Men and Lady's like you all that make this event what it is just a down right great group to hang with.
it was good to see Bill and Trish a little banged up but in know means down for the count. Wish them both the best.

Steve is right, these events could not be possible without everyone putting in the miles to join us. You all make the event, we just pick the roads and area each year to have it at. We appreciate each and every one of you guys and hope we can keep this going year after year. I met several guys that have never been before. I tried to make it around to everyone but I know I missed several. Now the maps and gps will be coming out for next years ride. We enjoy doing this and hopefully show some of indiana that you wouldn't normally see.

 Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
GABBY IS IN THE HOUSE  !!!  Made it to Pike County at 7:30  P.M. due three accidents on the Mountain Parkway that delayed me two hours of just sitting on the highway.  Lucky no one was hurt.  Had a good trip home from Frankfort after finding a Waffle House and consuming a VAST quantity of food.  No rain-few clouds--plenty of sun--Just right for riding.

I want to extend my congradulations to all the organizers- helpers-all the groups of great men and all them lovely ladies who rode   L  O  T  S  of miles to be partners in such a   F  U  N  experience.  I was so thrilled to see so many pretty phat ladies also attended. There were so many to look at and share ideas of how we can add to our own bikes.  The two that impressed me were ALI ( and getting to see Bruce) and the American flag trike. They were sharp.  ALL OF OUR LADIES are special, I just could not pick out really any that are not georgius.  I am so thankful for all of you that I met and if I missed meeting you, I am sorry.  It was amazing that I could remember most of Corbin Riders and your devious memories.  I kept my keys in my front pants pocket this year.  I must admit to my D  U  M  __  A  S moment.  I guess more experience riding and time will become my friend so not to have these IGNORANT times.  (  YOU CAN LAUGH AT ME NOW  HE HE HEHAW HAW).  i also have to giggle at my self and just blame it on senior moments.  Can't figure why I get so many of them.

Again, Thanks for the invite.  I had so many NEW stories to come up with.  I'm still laughing  at some of the antics we all did.  Great time just does not tell of all the laughter we all shared.  LET'S JUST DO IT BETTER NEXT TIME  !!!!!

Looking forward to the next one.

I was a rookie and had a great time.  Thanks to Steve and Gavin and anyone else that helped put this tremendous event on.  You guys found some wonderful roads to ride  and with so many old farms and narrow twisting roads it was a little like stepping back in time.    Seeing so many Valkyries a  beauty each and every one and the different ways folks adorned their friend is amazing.  I look forward to many more of these.

To answer your question, when we stopped at the church for a rest, somehow my thumb was on the throttle lock and I must have slipped on the kill switch.  As we all know, especially the older riders, DON"T touch the switch.  They are dirty, and stick, and kills the motor. We thought that the battery was dead.  Tried jumping while I rocked the switch and it made contact.  It started right up.  YAH  !!!! several stayed with Ron and I to make sure Bruenhilde would start.  THANKS for all who cared.  That was what I referred to as my DUMBASS moment.really was glad to get back home .

Again ,,,THANKS for a fabulous time.. I hated coming back to reality and seeing the wife, kids, and my special critters.   Lorrie knows we love our critters  !!!!

I am so excited about next year.  I hope the good LORD will allow me to live for the next one. crazy2 crazy2 crazy2

Cross Post to another thread...

I posted my pictures on the original DRU Post not knowing this one was started.

We got home around 4pm yesterday.  We had a 798.5 mile weekend with only 8 miles of Interstate.  It was such a great ride...and we will definitely be attending more.  Thanks Steve!!!

Thanks for a great get together- the people are great. I arrived back in Houston at 9:30 last night. Had a great ride until I got stuck in a 30 minute traffic jam 8 miles from my house.

Thanks Steve for making this a successful ride.  Connie and I are both newbies to "group rides" and this was a great way to pop the cherry.  Met some nice folks and had a terrific time.  Thanks to Ron, Gavin (who I did not get to meet) and Steve for all the help and encouragement.

My home is always open and ready to accept good folks, I include you in that group.   Let me know early and I'll have the item(s) you requested here and ready for you.

As I've said previously, JOe puts on a good ride, I'd love to say I can attend this one but, I suspect or actually know, there are other priorities I'm going to have to attend to.

 Cry Cry Cry Cry

I got some VERY  BAD  news today when I went to see my heart  doctor.  I went in and the nurse said that the doc wanted me to see the lady that reads pacemakers first.  I went in and immediately she applied the moniter, scowl on her face, "  I got bad news---your battery is dead  "  I thought all kinds of bad things and then she smiled and said  "  that is good.  We will get Doc to schedule your operation to replace the unit and the battery  ".  I can  not  complain, I had died    TWICE  and had 5  ( five } bypasses along with the pacemaker on May 3, 2008.  That is a great track record.  They only supposed to last   (five)  years.  I beat that all to pieces.

It just so happened on Sept.  19,  2015  at 11:19  A. M.  while riding toward the casino for lunch during the Dragon Round  Up.   NOW IT IS VALK  RELATED  !!!!!

Thanks for the ride.  Thanks for the friendships  and above all  You can  not   have   this  much  fun   with   your   clothes   O  N  !!!

Have a great year until next  year  !!!

Gabby      (  now you can start laughing  N  O  W  !!!!!)
